Brale goes live on the XRP Ledger | Brale Blog

Brale now supports the XRP Ledger (XRPL), a public blockchain built for efficient tokenization and settlement of financial assets.

With this integration, businesses can use Brale to issue and manage regulated stablecoins—whether backed by U.S. dollars or other supported currencies—directly on the XRPL through the same simple API they already use for payments (including on-ramps, off-ramps, and wallet infrastructure for custody and settlement).

Brale's technology provides the foundation for fintechs, payment service providers (PSPs), and corporates to bring their existing payment operations on-chain—supporting use cases like stablecoin custody, treasury management, and real-time settlement. By integrating Ripple USD (RLUSD), Ripple's USD-backed stablecoin, Brale makes it easier for payment companies to connect traditional and digital finance within a compliant, regulated framework.

Fintechs can also settle in RLUSD available on the XRP Ledger and Ethereum—enabling faster, compliant movement of digital dollars globally.

Brale + XRPL + RLUSD

Together, Brale, the XRP Ledger, and RLUSD give fintechs and enterprises a simple, regulated way to launch and move digital dollars.

Brale provides the licensed platform and API for issuing, managing, and using stablecoins—handling compliance, reserves, and connections between traditional banking systems and blockchain.

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) delivers the speed, efficiency, and reliability those stablecoins run on. Powered by its native digital currency, XRP, the XRPL has supported more than a decade of secure, low-cost settlement and provides a trusted foundation for digital payments and tokenized assets.. It also includes built-in compliance features—such as controls that let issuers manage who can hold or transfer their assets—helping regulated institutions meet operational requirements directly onchain.

Each RLUSD token is fully backed by U.S. dollar deposits and cash equivalents and redeemable 1:1 for USD. Since its launch in late 2024, RLUSD has grown to nearly $900 million in circulation, supported by adoption across DeFi platforms, Ripple's payment solution, and institutional partners.

Stablecoins are transforming how money moves across borders and industries. The XRP Ledger is at the center of this evolution, offering the efficiency and trust needed to support regulated digital assets at scale. Brale's launch and RLUSD's growth together demonstrate how this technology can make global finance more open and connected.
